Chaz loves his volunteer group at school! He is part of KKids and they do some awesome things in the community. This day was sorting donations they had for the local homeless shelter! I love his giving heart!
This little nugget's momma asked me to take him for a few hours... honestly, who could say "no" to this face!!! And yes, we went to Target. I mean, why the heck not!
I took him with me to get my hair done.. I mean, hand a kid an iPhone and they are golden, right? And no, I didn't do this. Just goofing off! BAHAHA!
This.kid.
And then we went to JJs for lunch! He loves me so!
Could you just eat him up or what?!?! These faces!!!
But not before he tried to spin the wheel.. And no, I didn't let him get a free shot of whiskey.. Although it could have helped with nap time :) Kidding. Sort of.
Naptime. *eyeroll* And the items I found in my bed after said "nap time" All so worth it, I love this kid!!
So this happened. Ugh to the ugh. About once a year this damn washer goes out...
I left for a bit and came back to this. I wanted to cry. The dryer went out too. There is a bit of a time lapse in the next few pictures as I kid you not, no exaggeration, I did laundry at the neighbor's house while the hubs tried to fix it for FIVE weeks. Yep, FIVE. He did eventually fix the dryer.
He really did try hard to fix the washer but...... I may have reminded him once or twice that he sells houses and doesn't fix washers. BUT there is always You Tube, right? SMH.
And then one day I came home to this, would this be the golden ticket??! Would the little pump in this little box fix my washer problems?!?!?!
Nope. Didn't happen but demo at 9pm with his buddy did! This is what happens when you give a final date of how long this nonsense is going to go on. I was about to pull out my hair. FIVE weeks, people. So, demo the built ins for the front loads and momma is getting some new top loads.
But before they can deliver your new best friends, you have to randomly paint the laundry room a cheery blue! And the ceiling.. I will NEVER paint a ceiling again!!
And then it was time to take the ship on the maiden voyage. OMG. I am in love!!! And I am so glad that debacle is over.
These little cuties at Rise and Shine! Love them so much!
Baseball in the yard. All.day.every.day.
When he snuggles, he snuggles hard!
Go Cubs. Always, Go Cubs. And I got a new Arkansas one this month too! LOVE!!
These two goobers. LOVE.
And when big brother and daddy have baseball practice, I tend to do whatever he wants.
Which often results in this. But it is fun, he is cute and I love him so much!!
OMG. BAHAHAHA!
He is just so much fun!
I love school pictures.. especially CLASS pictures. I look at each face and smile....and usually giggle. LOVE!
And on Mother's day, I tend to suck at taking pictures. I really just love taking it all in. I love all the wonderful mothers in my life but mine is something extraordinary. And this is probably one of my all time favorite pictures.
Yes, we often just wear baseball pants. Why not? And ride a scooter.
And make weird faces. This is his thing and it drives me batty.OMG, that hunk of gum. BAHAHA!
Sweet ballpark siblings!!
He can't. He just can't. This kid cannot make a normal face!
Sweet cousins. I love that they include the little.
And clearly he is worn out.
Haircut day!
"Hi, my name is Dane and I cannot look at the camera when there is anything close to me to look any other way!"
So forced.
And when you get your baby's last preschool picture order form. OMG. How do I even?!?! And no, I will not fall for the "Spring special" Are you kidding me?!?! $$$
We celebrated these little cuties with a dual bday dinner before they left for vacation.
And then there was this one time when a friend asked to shop my stored baby/kiddo clothes and it resulted in me pulling out EVERYTHING. What in creation was I thinking?!?! BTW, I still have some of it and hope to tackle this "little" project another cold and rainy century.
The love between these two! #viciouspitDaddy out with friends equals mommy night with my boys. Don't get too excited there, Chaz.
And then the floods came. SOOOOO much rain. Here are some of the pulls from my FB feed.
This was College in Fayetteville. Like the main road. Holy rainwater, Batman!!
This is the road leading to my parent's house. I can't even remember how long they were stuck up on the hill.
And this would be the Hobby Lobby parking lot! Thank goodness we live on a hill. A BIG hill.
My front porch. I was a little worried for a minute that it was going to come inside.
This is a dog who really needs to pee but doesn't want to get wet.
Sometimes you just need a random trip to Chuck E Cheese. I am not sure why you do, but you do.
This is the-machine-took-my-money face.
Big money, no whammies!
One happy, one over it. Classic tale of these two.
Hands down, his favorite game.
Such a fun little random afternoon. Hard on the ears but good for the soul.
"I want to be an athlete when I grow up" I am not surprised.
This little beauty came home from school. Yep, my third grader is actually learning to write in cursive. You know, they nixed it about fifteen years ago! Most teenagers cannot read cursive. I sent this to my mom to warm her heart #shelovescursive
And I unfortunately missed these when I did the Easter/Jack Simmons bday post but I just had to post them. Chaz and Jackson scaring Sam on the trampoline. They are just pure gold.
BAHAHAHA! I know some of these guys!
Ok, I know some of you like this but I walked past this in WM and almost lost my lunch. Grossness. Just grossness.
I love little words of encouragement from my momma friends!
This may or may not be me. Told ya so.
Try not to laugh. Dare you.
Can I get an Amen?!?!
When you have a smart ass BIL, this ends up on your car after family dinner and you don't realize it until 2 days later when you go to pick up your son from a volunteer event for school. #winning. Don't worry, I got him back. Stay tuned.
And when you confirm and solidify a beach trip with your BFF and family!!
BAHAHAHA!
Try not to laugh. Try.
Every.damn.day.
