And then there are days like this. He is such the goober.
Major goober.. and thanks for the butt shot and ruining my "bideo" hubs.
My parents were off to Florida to help my brother and Lisa move in. I was super jealous but I did get some updates like this one. I love these two so much!!
One day April asked if I would mind watching my little friend Beckett for a few hours.... Ummmmmmm, duh?!?! Bring it on!
I really didn't put him to work but he has been with me enough that he knows, life continues when he is here and there are things we have to do, so he decided to be helpful! Sweet boy!
We had some computer time.
And even played with makeup! Kidding, it is just a Snapchat filter, but isn't he beautiful!?!?
TV, snuggles and Snapchat time!
It must be a thing because this was one day after school with my baby. I mean, could we be any cuter?!?
I love this boy!
Even when we aren't so cute! BAHAHA!
Sooooooo, this one day, at the ballpark, I asked my friend's kiddo to make sure Dane stayed at the playground with her and didn't run off. Before you freak out, I could see him from where I was sitting BUT this was just a precaution. Anyway, he tried to escape and from what I understand, Brooke kinda... well, tackled him and drug him where he was suppose to be!
The result was a wee bit of rug burn. It looks a LOT worse than it really was... and trust me, he was MILKING it to his advantage! I guess he won't try to run away again! Oops!
When you have a broken hand, why wouldn't you learn to ride a ripstick?? We live on the edge, folks.
Anything with noise and lights is right up his alley! We love some Sutton!! Happy birthday, sweet boy!!
Hilarious when you see the littles reading the safety rules... especially these three! HAHA!
And it is easy lights out after a full day of birthday partying, jumping and playing! Pure sweetness!!Warm October weather calls for getting outside and painting/drawing with their shirts off!
And showing off tattoos. Why not?!?! Crooked shorts and tattoos are awesome!!
And sometimes mean mug snuggles up with the hubs. She really does love us, promise!
And sometimes the neighbor's garage becomes the "hangout" or "man cave" OMG, these boys!!Sweet afternoon snuggles!! Winning.
And funnies.
Concentration at the claw game. They really need lessons from the master. Just sayin'
A fun afternoon Hog game with his Aunt, Uncle, Dad and cousin! He was so happy!!
Proving that he is almost as tall as Meme. She is only 81 years older than him but who is counting?!?! Oh and she is tiny but he still see this as a very BIG goal. He said he will be taller than her by the end of the year. I give her another 6 months in the lead.
I love when the sky "talks" to us and we know they are looking down. We miss you too.
Ignore the crap haircut. **I promise to never go back to crappy clips again, promise** He wanted Lego Big Ben Lego SOOOOOO bad.. He got it for his birthday and could not wait to put it together. So proud he had to send a picture to our "British friends." More so because the dad of said family still has his in the box after more than a year. HAHAHA!
Sometimes you have to call your buds over to work on the golf cart (translation: kids 5 and under working with play tools but whatever, they are stinkin' cute)
And when birthdays continue with late birthday presents, we certainly do NOT complain! Yay!!
So maybe the Cubs weren't completely useless by September?!!?!
I love my friends!
and I love when the littles stay over. These two are buddies. This was just preciousness.
This looks like some major trouble but really it is just a five year-old birthday party!! Dane is the stud with the bike helmet on.
The hubs and I went to get our flu shots and this one tagged along and received a band-aid and an Icee for his "efforts." Note: he got his shot weeks before this at the doc.
He literally fell asleep while writing. Love this kiddo.
Legos are a BIG thing in our house. This has trickled down to the little brother except he likes to take them apart vs keep them in pristine condition and displaying them. Different kiddos, I guess.
Goober.
More Legos. He carries this box with him. Everywhere.
Vicious pit right there, folks.
How do you pick your wing sauce?!?
This face. I love her.
They go together well.
I love my friends.
And when your Papa takes you on your annual fishing trip, you get to eat at a fancy restaurant and blow bubbles.
I can't see what he is eating but I am sure it is chicken fingers or fries or olives or pickles or some kind of fruit.. You know, healthy and stuff.
The kid can fish! He was so pumped!!
Many, many fish.
My dad said he had a hard time not talking the entire time but he did great! I love that they do a trip every year. Such a wonderful bond these two have!!
And sometimes your kid gets a hold of your phone and takes videos. I'm sure I will miss this when they no longer do it, right??
When it comes to pumpkin carving, I don't do it. I clean them out **gross** and get them ready for carving but the hubs is really the carver in the family.
He will admit, he lost some of his skills this year. I am not even sure what this is.
This is how I carve! Black pant and glow-in-the-dark paint!
And I give the baby (yep, still call him the baby) a sponge painter and some black paint. He was happy!
Add in some gold and he is super happy.
Oh wait, I know what that is. $$. Am I right, mommas??
Such a fun night!
Do you remember the whole Chaz broke his hand thing (scroll about halfway down the post)?? Is it still broken!?!? NO! YAY!!
I am not 100% convinced he understands how to play hide-and-seek but it sure is funny to watch! *yes, the hubs is wearing his free house shoes from our August vaca to Cabo. This is real life, folks.
Brother's turn to find the baby.
BAHAHA! Sorry hubs (aka my first born)
Beer but yes.
Yes, sometimes I get a wild hair. Painting is usually involved in said wild hair.
This time it was time to get rid of grimy hands. So.many.handprints. Now I understand when mom would say "Keep your hands off the walls!" And then, after I spot painted, I realized the paint didn't mix to the color I gave them and
And there was this onetime I was searching for a present for a sweet little girl in my life and I was transported back to when I was seven. They even smelled the same. The hubs asked if I needed them. I took a serious pause before reluctantly answering with a quiet "No, I'm good"
I know a Craig... he is like 40 something.
Wild hairs often involve paint. This would be that time I decided to paint the train table that was living in my bedroom as a superhero play table.
And that one time you and your girlfriends had a really fun night at one of those craft nights. We had fun but our crafts struggled... big time. This one was left with me to fix. She really just wanted to toss it in the trash. Ugh.
Yes, ma'am!! Love you, mommas!!
Anyone with me? I was a kid and it still sounds like a glorious idea!!
I mean....
And to all the mommas who hate this little whiny bitch kid.
One more for the politics and I am done. Promise. Maybe.
Another craft day. Yep, Paint was involved.
Read it. Love it. Own it.
This is real life. Go ahead and pick up a Cyrus at the store. No need for milk. #damnyouautocorrect
Also, real life.
Just sayin'
How does this even happen?? He isn't even one of my kids. #firstborn
I'm me. You love it.
This could be a real convo between me and many of my momma friends. Keeping it real.
I'm just going to leave this right here.
And a little plug for a good friend. When your friend posts to FB that she has a tooth emergency and needs to see a dentist ASAP on a Friday afternoon.... and your good friend just happens to be a kick ass dentist?!? Yep, this happens. If you need one, DMC is the way to go!
Did y'all know I can cook?? Yeah, neither did I really.I did dessert too! Winning.
Golden rule. Be kind, y'all.
Happy October, everyone! Much love to you all!!
