Touch-A-Truck, quick nap and then we were off to the RedWhite game. Chaz talked all.day.long about how he was going to see the "Big football players." We went to the game last year but the weather didn't really cooperate. This year was fantastic! The weather was clear and sunny. Not too hot, not too cold. Chaz decided to be the "cool kid" and wear his sunglasses like Mommy and Daddy.
We would literally sit somewhere for about 15 minutes and then Chaz would want to move to another seat. I think we got views of the entire stadium. This was our first spot.
This was our last spot. We were in the shade so we had to put our sweatshirts back on but it was still very pleasant. Chaz wanted to sit on my lap the entire time, as he still fears Big Red. He did however have his first sighting of Sue E (Obviously a play off Sooooooooie!) She is the girl version of Big Red and apparently not as scary. Although, he never went up to her to say "Hi." He simply admired her from a far.
Calling the Hogs.. (still in Mommy's lap)And then out of nowhere, around the middle of the fourth quarter, he stood up and said "Ok, I'm ready to go home now." Ryan and I looked at each other and with a quick head nod we were off. He had been wonderful all day and there was really no sense in pushing it when the 3 year-old says he is ready to leave.
As we were walking out we passed some of the decorations from the earlier events (Razorfest takes place before the game. Past/current players sign autographs, kids play games, vendors have booths with giveaways, etc) Chaz came across the Aliens from Toy Story 3 --probably some of his favorite "people" -- he just had to get his picture taken with them.
