Friends are made to keep!

and we are big fans of these two. Mike and Destiny (unc Mike Mike and aunt Dezzie as chaz would say) are some of the best people made... We are both very busy families so sometimes the times between our visits are very long, so we make the most of the time we have! As you have noticed with some of the recent summer posts I truly think there is nothing better than backyard fun in the sun.. Chaz wanted to show Dezzie his pool as soon as she got there...

Dezzie and Chaz decided to hide in the house and shoot at Ryan and Mike.. Chaz thinks she hung the moon and this really just sealed the deal..Chaz was very stealth like..
And then it was ambush time!!!!and then Chaz wanted to run and jump into the pool. He developed this stance...
Look familiar??!?!? He would say "To fin-tee and be-yong!!"

and run and jump into the pool!! He thought he was hilarious... nothing better than a 2 year old who thinks they are funny!

After the kiddo was long in bed we decided it was slip-n-slide time.. Visqueen + water hose + vegetable oil = lots of fun & aching bodies, bruises and realizing we just were not as young as we once were....Oh well it was a blast!
