Come rain or cold we are going to Touch a Truck!!

So every year there is a wonderful event in NWA called Touch a Truck. They bring out all the emergency vehicles, heavy machinery, Tusk the Razorback mascot, etc. Seriously everything down to the Shred It truck. They let kiddos crawl on them, take pictures, honk horns, flash the lights, run the sirens, etc. It is a blast! We were pretty committed to going even though it was raining and cold (obviously this is an outside event) Daddy was in charge of getting Chaz's dressed, which was a bad idea.. Shorts?? seriously shorts?? We luckily had this jacket in the back of my car!First stop.. backhoe, or the "digger" as it is called in this house.. I seriously think we could have gone home after this as Chaz loves "diggers" and that is really what he wanted to see. *notice the socks pulled up and the shorts pulled down. Our sad attempt to make "pants" out of what he had on..

and then into the firetruck!

onto the "mocycle" and the tractor.. he was giving the evil eye to another kid in line..needless to say he did not want to get off and told the kid it was is Papa's tractor
B.A.C.A (Bikers against child abuse) was there and they let all these little ones sit on their motorcycles. Chaz loved it even if this picture shows a less than enthused face..
This little can is actually from my work!

As we were about to leave Jackson and Cameron showed up.. Soooo back to each and every truck, tractor and vehicle we had visited but this time with a buddy in tow. *notice Jackson is in shorts too! I guess these two daddys are really cut from the same cloth

and then we visited Tusk. I really thought Chaz would be scared of this beast but he really wanted to pet him.. What a big boy!

Last stop was the Best Buy Geek Squad's lift. The boys were able to ride it and thought it was super cool. Chaz told Jackson "hold da chain!!" He was very protective!
Touch a Truck was fun.. cold but FUN. I think we will continue to do this year to year.. Rain or shine!
