July // 2017

July is always crammed packed full of so much fun, sun and friends.. This July was no exception.

Such sweet friends! They always have the best time together!
Sweet boys! They were soaking wet and happy to enjoy some homemade snowcones!
Lining up for the pinata!
Nothing bad can happen here... promise!
Watch out DeBoard, he can hit!
I get ALL the DumDums!!
Could he be ANY sweeter?!?!?
They all made out like bandits!
Sometimes we have diner on a patio a little too close to our dentist friends office... and a rubber glove may or may not have affixed itself to my husbands face. BAHAHA!
And the boys had their own good time in the office. I can't even with this! Forever saved in my favorites!!
Look at that booty!

BAHAHA!
And sometimes you just happen to be driving up the hill and notice a CAR.ON.FIRE! What!?!?!

Notice how calm the dude next to it is. Ummmmm, nope.
Some afternoons are made for Lego building. I just love this kiddo!!
And this is what happens when you take your kid into Whole Foods. Neither of them can stand the smell so it is a mad dash to get what I need and out the door.
More Legos and a super cute kiddo!
And my happy place.. snuggled with my baby on the couch.
Officially trapped and wouldn't have it any other way!
Summertime also calls for a LOT of playdates!! Some for their sanity and some for my own. Oddly, I can get more done with a house full of kids! BAHAHA!

Jack and Dane were off for some kind of adventure!
Lose tooth check before we go on said adventure!
They went upstairs and come down like this! Love them!
Yep, I am that mom. I let them stuff their faces with GIANT marshmallows. Why not?!?!
THE best!
When you kiddo says his sock "feels funny"
Blank stare.... countdown to 3....2......
1! Car sleeper all.the.way!
But then awake for our mommy and me lunch date! I LOVE this face!
Really?? You didn't notice this HUGE hunk out of my plate before serving my yummy nachos?!? Fail. BUT the nachos were delicious!
LOVE him! And if you are wondering, big brother was at camp, but that is another post 😃
Then it was off to Old Navy to get some socks he was promised... Hmmmm, wonder if this was part of the toe hole in the black ones... Quite possibly!
I will let him do the talking on this one. The ONLY thing I made him repeat was his first sentence. The rest was where ever he was taking the conversation. I just knew by the first sentence that I was going to need to get this one on video.
SO wonderful when you have an open invite to the neighbor's pool. Maybe one day I'll convince the hubs to get me one of my own!
Ahhhhhhhh, living our best life!
Deep convos with the boy on the upside-down turtle.
Goober!

And then we clean up and relax. Again, more convos with this sweet baby!
The next morning he crawled up in my fully made bed, still in his pjs. Lazy boy!
Throwing it back to his brother's days as the "human highlighter"   I swear, Chaz wore only neon for a solid year and a half!
And we will toss in a picture of the camp boy  (and Jackson) I was sure missing this big kiddo's face!
Ok so let's be honest, his solo week revolved around shopping, eating, swimming and lazing around! L.I.V.I.N!

He picked out this shirt at Marshall's and told me "Mom, we HAVE to get this because, well, it is 'Merica!"  This boy is a riot! 😂
Every time we eat Mexican food with his Papa, they share a sopapilla. So, since his Papa wasn't with us, he asked to send a picture to "Make him super jealous!"
Oh and car naps, this week for SURE included a BUNCH of car naps!!
More swimming fun!
Our best friend's live in Chicago. Destiny bought this shirt - Chicago skyline with a Razorback behind it. Well, she shrunk it, so she sent it to Chaz and he LOVES it! Thanks, Aunt D!
Between all the fun times and lazy moments, I did put him to work! He helped me with laundry, cleaning, vacuuming and unloading the dishwasher every day!
Well, brother is back from camp and this is now my face as they constantly bicker and argue. WHY?!?!  Days like this make me no longer wonder why my mom would tell us she wasn't the referee! Ugh.
Goof.
And then sometimes they find their Daddy's Santa suit in the closet and both fit into it! It is either fully out anarchy or bliss. Rarely anything in the middle.
One day Ry and I realized we had never taken the boys to the Drive In. This was hands down one of our favorite things to do in college as we lived just down the road from it and it is quite the experience. I often wonder how many of these things are still around!
And yes, just like in Grease, there is a playground in the front. My kids thought this was the "best night ever!!"
Absolute perfection! And yes, they are shirtless as it was super muggy!
Summer nights are FULL of kickball games in the neighborhood. I love that we live somewhere with SO many kids and they all (almost always) get along! My kids are making friends and memories that will last a lifetime!
And sometimes your WONDERFUL neighbors invite you over even when you are having a boy cousin sleepover and have 3 extra boys! WOAH!
How many kids can you fit on this poor flamingo?!?!?
Seven. The answer is seven!
No wait, there is another. Eight, the answer is eight!
And sometimes you older brother is sweet and gives the thumbs up for the little dude to come to the 9-10 year old sleepover in the tent in the backyard. Someone was a little excited!
How fun is this?!?!
I am pretty sure we are going somewhere very fun and I am going to be very tired when it is over.
And the answer is yes! Fastlanes with all the boys is exhausting... but SO much fun!
They are all SO much fun!!
And then we will spend our tickets on a bunch of junk I could have bought at the Dollar Store for about 1/100th of the price. But it is all for the fun, right?!?!
To say we had a blast may be an understatement.
And then the Fayetteville bunch made a quick stop off for snowcones.
SO.MUCH.FUN!!!
If you are happy and you know it, cheesy smile!
And when we are that close, we MUST go through the awesome car wash!
And as if we had not had enough fun and sugar for the day, Cold Stone after dinner! Again with that living the best life thing!

We call this a cultural family movie night. Yep, that is Rad. The boys were not as thrilled as we were.
The next morning required cuddles and slow moving. And I will take it all day long!
Golf cart rides? Yes, please!
And then one afternoon the boys asked to do a trek around Fayetteville to take pictures in front of the cool murals. Yes, please! This is right up my alley! We LOVE our funky little town!
And some nights after dinner the neighbors offer to keep your kiddos just for the heck of it! WHAT?!?!  We love our Barbers!
I think he went a little hard the past few days! BAHAHA! Lunch naps.
Although they fight... a LOT, there are evenings like this that make my heart happy!
When you realize your kiddo is crazy patriotic and he stands up a flag that was laying down in the Target $1 aisle. He makes my heart happy!
I took one of my besties and her kiddos out to my parent's pool for an afternoon. My momma loves littles like I do and is always asking to use her pool more... well, careful what you wish for, in comes 7 kiddos!! HAHA! She really is in her happy place!
And so are they!
Oh Beckett 😂
Momma used to teach littles to swim so this was going to be the day! We were going to get Bex and his momma way more comfortable with the water. Yes, I had a motive!!

Crazy girl with crazy legs! Yes, I am jealous!
A little brag moment. That is my daddy. Hole.in.one! Good job, young man!

And now for the monthly funnies!!

Harassment of your friends is necessary. At all times if they are a Texas fan!
Can I get an Amen?!?!
Nobody is perfect but everyone deserves to be loved.
I don't have a daughter but I have two sons who use all the time in the day to fill it with words!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
So I follow these yard sales sites on FB and have had some great success with selling items on them... but sometimes you come across things that look a wee bit suspicious. I mean, maybe it is real?! Who knows. If it is, he may want to switch to his initials or something. Yikes.
I kind love this. Again, you know if you are in the "funny section" there may be language or off color humor. This would be one of them. BUT these are wise words from a 92 year old. I have had a ton of change in the past 2 years and this is something I have learned. Maybe said in a kinder way (maybe not! 😂) But either way, life is simply too short for nonsense and fakeness.
Squirrel?!?!

And when you friend leaves her beer in your freezer and get this picture via text a few hours after she leaves. Thank goodness for a non explosion evening! BAHAHA!
