September // 2016

September brings fantastic weather and football parties with friends! The halftime show was sponsored by Mr John and the kiddos. It was a great idea to try and wear them out!
Grabbing the bigs so the little could win the race! Bahahaha!!
Look at Chaz. I am rolling!!
 Get it girls!
And back. I tell ya, wearing them out!!
 These kids are simply fantastic!
 RR is obviously NOT impressed!
Who knows.. but as long as he is working them, we don't care!!
 Baseball time.
 Sweet nugget!
 So fun!
And sometimes you pour water on your face. Silly boy!
 Loves her!
Momma and her girl (or one of them)
 This kiddo. Just so chill.
And his "Cheese" face looks angry today.
Boy and toys. Hey, if you are in a girl house, you play with girl toys. They didn't seem to mind! No different than when the girls come to the boy house!
 Goobers.
 Baby booty.
Back outside. They were just all over the place!
And some of my favorite pictures... the trampoline faces! Try not to laugh, dare you.
Crazy boy.

 Sweet daddy and his princess.
 Buds.
 Bros
 Precious girl.
 I LOVE this one! LOVE!!
More trampoline faces. This kills me!!
And they knew they were funny because I was almost in tears with laughter!
And this face. She is so pretty!
And then the hubs tries to make little Sam smile. Hilarious!!!
More sunshine.... and swimming in September! LOVE!
And then a little time to try and get a picture of my two for their bday party invite. This is always a challenge. Mainly because they start cracking up and once that starts, it is very hard to stop. Thankfully, we got this beauty.
And, you guessed it, then the giggles started!!
I just love these sweet faces!
Why wouldn't you put your sock in front of the camera?!?!
And then the baby wanted to work the camera and wanted me in the picture. Ok, why not!
 Now brother's turn!
We decided to squeeze the hubs in too!
This kid is seriously something else. There are four hats on that head. Yes, four. One is squished under the Cabo hat. Such the mess.
Assembly time at school! I love seeing all the faces I love!

He is sweet enough to share his device and ear buds but stay clear of his hats.
And sometimes you get an extra bonus and your sweet friends come to visit. Have I mentioned how much my kiddo LOVES babies!?!?!
And this kiddo was pumped to be able to snuggle with his BFF.
This is how they were the next day. All.about.Chaz.
The next weekend, the big boys hung out and then went to the football game!
This kiddo wasn't feeling his best so we stayed home and snuggled.
 #trapped
It didn't take long for him to bounce back. Maybe he just needed Momma time. Oh and he was 100% against this meal because he "hates it" but he ate two plates of spaghetti.
And then it was naptime again. Sundays are a fav around here!
 Sweetness. PURE sweetness.
And some nights you just want to hang out and watch Survivor. We don't even watch Survivor.
And some days Family Movie Night is Rad. Literally,Rad.
Can you even with all of this cuteness?!?!?!
And some days you get an AMAZING parking space at Sam's. If you have been to our Sam's, you know how rare this is. I had to take a picture and send it to the hubs. #marriedlife.
So one day Chaz came home with some athletic tape on his fingers. Our wonderful nurse had called and told us he fell in gym class and landed on his hand. The PE coach said she heard a crack... but it really didn't look that bad or bother him.... so we didn't take him to the doc and sent him to school the next day. Our nurse calls back the next day and tells us it has gotten worse. We trust her 100% and asked "what would you do with your kiddo??"  So off to the doc with our Parents of the Year Award we go!
While waiting for the doc, you have to pass the time! Thanks, Snapchat!
And then it was time for the truth. He wasn't really nervous because he thought it was all so cool. Did I mention this day was his first Fall baseball game?!? It wasn't looking good, folks.
Doc came in and gave us the news, it was for sure broken and we would need to follow up with ortho to see about surgery. The mommy guilt was totally over whelming.
He thought it was kinda cool. He got to pick the color and couldn't wait to tell all his friends about it. Again, #parentsoftheyearoverhere
What an eventful 24 hours. He also learned that even though you are broken, you still have to attend your baseball games and root for your team! Yep, every game.
Grandparents day at Dane's school. He was excited to see Mah and Dah. My parents were out of town so they weren't able to make it!
More fun times with our friends. We seriously cannot get enough of these people! I really actually felt terrible this day because when I picked Chaz up from school I told him we were going swimming at the neighbor's house. He lifted his temporary cast and gave me the BIG eye roll. Oops. Sorry, buddy! At least you can hug on some babies.
Back to the Snapchat. It is a fav around this house.
Couch snuggles with my big boy. I think this is still the momma guilt showing.
And as if he had not had enough this week, dentist time. He is so good at the dentist so he really didn't care.
So after a week, we were off to our ortho appointment with so many prayers this wouldn't require surgery. Off came the temp cast and goodness me, it smelled! I cannot imagine if we have to have a full cast!! You can see the bruises up his finger, on his palm and on top of his ring finger hand knuckle. You can also see the swelling in his ring finger. We thought he had broken his finger at first but in fact he broke his hand at the base of the finger. So weird, also so common. Who knew?!?! It was also a common place to need surgery, if broken. #prayersfornosugery
BUT we got lucky! Not only did we NOT have to have surgery!! We got out of there with a removable cast! Which means, we can wash his hand/arm! Thank the good Lord above!!! He thought his "roboarm" was super cool! So, five weeks of this and then, hopefully, we are all good!! Note: although I thought we could wash it and it would smell good... it didn't. I even washed the removable cast but it didn't help. Although, it was MUCH better than a real cast!
The three amigos with all the swords.
As much as I love the kiddos of our neighborhood, I also love that the other adults love mine! Mr Dave and Chaz have a good bond. Love these two!
Do you pick the worst times to go to Walmart? Because I do.
I really thought maybe I could get in and out before the sky opened up and dumped buckets. I was at the Neighborhood Markets so clearly I didn't need much. Well, that was a bad thought. I was screwed with no umbrella close to me.
But I still have a sense of humor and can send my bestie a selfie of me looking like a drowned rat.
And when you happen to take the little to the party store to pick out a pinata for his bday party and he really, really tries to get you to purchase this. Note: this is not a camera trick. This is the biggest shield I have ever seen. Also note: regular size shield is on his left arm. Yep. Uber huge.
Sweet night enjoying football with friends. I love how the big boys love on the littles. It really gets me every time.

And then I took off for a few days and headed to OKC to pack up my brother who was moving to Florida. It was a LOT of work but I had a great time spending some time with my parents and Lisa for a few days! The hubs was awesome and held down the fort with the kiddos. Including managing practices, homework, school shuffle, etc. He is amazing.
And my brother's dog likes to sit in a hole he dug. We love him but he is weird and I had to take a picture.
The trip was great but it was wonderful to get back to my boys and all the friends!! Including my silly buddy Jack!
 Giant Jenga is awesome!
I can't explain my child sometimes but he certainly makes me laugh!
Sweet pea. Saturdays are the best!
And then we were off to the annual Bikes Blues and BBQ event. We go early. You know, before the crazies come out.
Jackson joined us and yes, my child is the human highlighter again always.
Such a fun morning! Love them!
A little napping was required later that weekend. I mean, why not. He still naps and I love it. Chaz actually napped up until the day before he went to Kindergarten. I don't think Dane will last that long because he requires me to lay down with him when he is going to sleep. Unless I am trapped, I usually can wiggle myself out from underneath him. I will take this whenever he wants me to! I love it!
Then we did a little work on our birthday present from the Robinsons. He thought it was so cool. You are actually suppose to paint it before you smash it but in the norm of Dane, he just wanted to smash it!
 So fun!
I love his little voice and how he knows all his super heros. Preciousness.
It was Fayetteville High School homecoming so we headed downtown to celebrate!
I love how close Emmerson and Dane were. They were talking about everything. It was adorable!!
 Super cool mascot!
He just LOVED the big trucks! Such a fun evening!
When we got home, he wanted to break out another toy from his birthday!
 Boys. Just boys.
I was lucky enough to get to hang with my little buddy as his momma had an appointment! I just love this nugget!
And we have SO much fun together!
And sometimes you just have to play a mean game of cards in the garage.
Ready for the funnies? Here we go!

Sometimes your friends send you so pretty awesome stuff. I love my tribe.
The range of emotions are always here on this day. Never forget.
I can't even with this. I used to work with this friend and she has an amazing sense of humor. Check the hashtag. 😂😂😂

 My motto.
Sweetness from my boy. His grandpa (Dah) is his hero because he was in the Air Force. This kid's patriotism runs deep.
 So good.
 Nobody is a taco. Nobody.
 Bam!

I seriously have the best friends a girl could ever ask for!
 This.
And this. I can't even! They dressed their kid as a fart. Yes, you read that correctly.
Amen. Life isn't easy but it is totally worth it!
Oh yeah, I made an amazing dinner but didn't stop to take a pic until after. Oops. It was delicious!!
Blankets, sweats, back porch sitting.. yesssssss!
 Heehee. It happens.
 Yes, yes it is!
 Homework is from the devil.
And, I just have to end on a funny! So good. Just so good!

Happy September, folks! I hope you had a great one!
