Forgotten post // August 2011

As I was gathering Christmas pictures from multiple people's cameras, I came across a ton of pictures from August. I quickly realized a couples of things 1) I never really did a full post on the wonderful milestone Ryan and I hit this year -- 10 years of marriage. I did a small mention in my August Randomness but nothing in its own post. Shame. 2) I really miss the summer. Although I was 8 months pregnant and it was 100+ degree, I still miss it. Bring on the pool and fun times!!!

I simply can't file these pictures away. I must share and reminisce.  The Saturday of our anniversary weekend my parents kept Chaz so we could go to dinner and a movie. This is the sweet man that married me 10 years ago. Yes, we got married when we were 23 years old--straight out of college, one month before September 11th and green as green can be. All I knew was I loved this man and he made me happy. He still does.
And he still loves me when I am chunky and carrying a bambino!  He has given me two wonderful children and I couldn't be happier with our lives right now. He is my best friend!
Chaz wasn't very happy that he didn't get to go with us.
I don't think that lasted very long because as soon as we left they hit the pool. And from the looks of it, they had an absolute blast. MeMe and Sandra came over and joined in the fun. It looks like main activity was surfing.  Did I mention I really miss summertime??
 Swimming! No life jacket!!
 back to surfing...
Then it was time for the blow-the-water-through-the-noodle game with PaPa.
and we came home to this. I'm pretty sure they straight wore this kid OUT!!  Love him!!
Oh Summer, can you please hurry up and get here? Although it is unseasonable warm for January (60s) I really want to do this and this and this and this.. AND I hope we don't have too much of this or this in 2012.

  1. Found you on "People I want to Punch in the Throat." Great pictures!
