WOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! (Hogs vs. Georgia)

First Fayetteville game of the season Georgia.... the score was not so good 41 - 52 Georgia but we had a great time pregame tailgating...

We love the HOGS and we love to tailgate with our friends.. When the Hogs play David and crew roll into town and since this is really the only time of year we see them we try to make every effort to spend at least a few hours down by the stadium eating good food and praying for a good game.. Of course we have to sport the jersey.. with the "ra-back" as chaz SELF taught himself!
Why wouldn't you mow at the tailgate :)

Chaz playing Baggo... Look at that form! He is going to be a shark one day!

Now comes the "lining up" thing that he does.. all...the...time! Today's victim.. Red cups.

I have to say he is very meticulous in his odd behavior!

We bring the boys some toys and just let them roam free in the open area.. They had so much fun.. even when it began to rain!

I love that Jackson looks like he is pulling the chain on the mower..

chaz was playing with his bubbles and me being me was worried about him getting dirty... So i kept trying to help him with them (i don't know why i try) anyways he shot me this look that could have melted a hole in my head... "momma....i do bubbles"

We went home around nap time.. Full family nap! It was the best.. When Chaz woke up he got to play outside and had a special surprise that Izzy and Fletcher came over to play (sally had to stay home because she had the chicken pox.. yep, you heard me right! Chicken pox at 31.. and this is the third time she has had them!)

Chaz in the tee pee...He looks like Beavis and Butthead!

Fletcher took a much better Beavis and Butthead picture..

Bikes, Blues, Babies and BBQ

So as many of you know (if you don't you either don't live anywhere close to here or you live under a rock) every year at the end of September/beginning of October we have hundreds of thousands of motorcycles roll into NWA for the annual Bikes Blues and BBQ rally. Back in college this meant you would basically live on Dickson Street from Wednesday afternoon to LATE Saturday night.. now it means that we drive down Dickson every night with the windows down, chaz's hair spiked and sunglasses on so he can yell "MO-cycle! hello MO-cycle!" We did this Wednesday and Thursday nights and he had a blast.. we never even had to leave the car. The plan was to actually park and walk around after work on Friday night. So Ryan and I both planned to get out of work on time, pick up the kiddo and head on down to Dickson.. Did that happen?? NO Why you may ask?

Well let me tell you what this little guy did.. well let me back up a bit. Chaz has had a pretty nasty cough for about a month. We have been to the doctor twice.. one time we walked away with medicine, the second time we walked away with a "recovering" bill of health.. We have been up every night for a month with Chaz basically like we have a newborn.. WOW shell shock! I had to tell you that story in order to tell you this fantastic one.. So we had everything planned to go to see the motorcycles around 530.. well around 1pm i get a call from a number i didn't recognize on my cell, i was in a meeting so i ignored it...I then got a call from ryan, ignore... Then i get a text... "Chaz said his head hurt and then threw up on the floor" Needless to say i flew out of my meeting in order to call Ryan.. He said he was headed to get him within the hour and would call me.. I didn't hear anything until 330! Why you ask? Well when Ryan picked him up at school he smiled real big and said "MO-cycle Daddy! Go see MO-cycle" Seriously? Did my kid just learn how to play hookie? About an hour later I headed home to check him out myself 1) the mommy guilt of ignoring daycare was unbearable 2) i couldn't believe that he would have thrown up and then be fine..... Sure enough, he was fine. He still had a cough but that was to be expected.. So like bad parent, instead of keeping him home, we headed out as planned at 530 to see MO-cycles... Kid-1, Parents-0

Spike the hair, put on the cool shirt, sunglasses and boots --out the door!

Showing me his new green rainboots.. ryan said they were girly, i think they are cool and Chaz loves them Daddy-0, Mommy/chaz-1

My cool dudes

We headed down to Railhead salon to see Christy and Shawn.. Chaz wanted to sit at the big table and eat his treats.. why not? he has cool hair so he can hang at the big table..

I wish he was looking at the camera (never, never happens when i want) but at least you can see his cool shirt and green boots (cute huh?)

Again to the obsession with lining thing up.. There were a ton of empty chairs around us so we let him play while we talked with our friends.. what does he do? he starts lining up the chairs.. and he had a blast doing it..

well we had to bail before it got dark and before dinnertime.. as we were leaving chaz bolted under a clothing rack.. good thing for those green boots.. hee..hee!

September in a nutshell

So what have we done in September (besides the big 2!)

Well Gma and Papa got Ryan a riding lawnmower so Chaz and him have spent some evenings on it. He loves it and sit perfectly still for Daddy. He doesn't try to move or get down at all.. they just truck right along the massive backyard having a blast. It is great for me because it gives me time to clean, do laundry, etc..

The boys LOVE that we live in a "no traffic" neighborhood. They can literally "play in the street" This day they played football in the street.. I have no clue why my husband is wearing a sweater in 80 degree weather but whatever, I don't dress him.

I love this picture, Chaz looks SO intense but doesn't even have the football in hand.. we are going to need to give him a rulebook This picture makes me giggle.. it looks like Chaz has disappeared into ryan's rear.. HA!

And one of his favorite activities....getting the mail.. Of course when we didn't have any ryan stuffed the football in the mailbox. Look at the excitement on Chaz's face!

We have a Razorback (which chaz can say!) in our front flowerbed. Chaz is usually a little standoffish to it but on this day he was quite intrigued.
and a random picture.. back to the riding lawnmower. .. anytime Chaz is in the garage he jumps on the thing.. if you notice close to his head is one of those Frisbee rings... well my dear husband was tossing it, trying to loop it on Chaz's head.. they thought it was funny.

One afternoon Ryan went to the old house to clean out the attic. It was approximately 80 degrees outside (if not warmer) so Chaz and I headed outside. Below is one of the best pictures I have take of him in months.. What is that? Why yes it is his face.. not the top, back or side of this head but his cute adorable smiling face! This is what makes me happy every day, this is what i get to wake up to and come home to everyday.. this is what makes my world spin!!!
We sat in the back yard and pointed at airplanes.. Where we live now has many, many that go overhead... So chaz is in love with this fact!

I love this picture. I love that not only did he get 2 wands to try to blow bubbles but he closed his eyes as if to have more "bubble power" classic! and then the part i hate the most about bubbles. whether you have the fancy non spill bubble container (we do) or not the kids will inevitably get the slimy, soapy bubbles all over their hands and clothes.. Well lucky for me chaz is not a fan of "bubble goo" So he comes running to me to show me his goo.. Begs for a wipe to clean his hands (all the while whining like he wants a cookie for dinner)

and finally .. ahh.. relief from the bubble goo! who knew a kid would not enjoy the bubble goo slim.. not mine! no way, no how!

Mine also greatly enjoys cleaning.. weather it is taking something to the trash, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.. he LOVES it.. Here he has found my little handheld broom and dust pan.. Don't try to take it away or it results in an all out fit! "I c'ean, I c'ean momma!"

Aunt Destiny and Uncle Mike got Chaz 3D chalk for his birthday.. He LOVES it!! and he loves trying to get snowplow to try and wear the glasses that came with the chalk :)

Snowplow has become SO patient with Chaz. He let's him hug on him, put stickers on him, yell at him, etc. They have a good friendship.

He even weaseled some play time with Daddy when he got home from unloading the attic.

Now Chaz is big enough that we can have him help with fun things around the house.. Like cooking! We set up a few bowls on the counter --regular bowls, mixing bowls, measuring bowls, etc.. give him some mixing spoons and something to pour in the bowls and he is a happy camper.. Check out the look below...Hello Hell's Kitchen! That look would put Gordon Ramsey to shame!

Yes, he is right next to the big knife block (don't judge me!) but honestly he never went anywhere near it! He was too busy mixing up his Ritz Bitz snacks.

He had a little slip off the stool so his Daddy brought in the scaffolding from the garage. It is wonderful. Chaz stands on it and he can move back and forth across the counter with no issues.
Back to Gma and Papa's house.. One of his favorite things is reading or "ree-book" as he says. Anyways he will read to whomever will read or listen.. So when he is out of people he resorts to pets and at Gma and Papa's house.. that is Kyle.. Who could really care less as long as he is getting some sort of attention.. Every once and a while Chaz would lean over and give Kyle a hug "i love tyle" he would say.

At Gma and Papa's he loves nothing more than to ride the Rhino. It is absolutely his favorite thing and now that the barn for the motor home is built there is actually a final destination vs. just tooling around the yard.. Needless to say when he gets on his crazy hair gets even crazier.. which was the point of this picture.. If you are a follower of Meredith or Amanda you will notice similar pictures of their boys hair after riding one of these.. The profile is even better...

We hung around one afternoon to watch the game with dad and shane. Chaz had to sport the jersey although I am beginning to wonder if it is good or bad luck.. and stole Papa's hat..

Different day... same task. Rhino to the barn.. He will find someone, anyone in the house who he thinks is big enough to drive the Rhino (kyle is safe) and says "Go, ride. Ride to barn" He LOVES it and I love that he gets to have these wonderful experiences at his grandparents house..I have these memories from my Grandparents and they are priceless.

I look at this picture and stop in my tracks.. my baby is not a baby anymore (although he will always be one to me) he is boy! a toddler!

Hanging out with Lisa.. he adores her!

Originally he was at the barn with Lisa and Gma (now Gaga) but then he saw the tractor.. well let me backtrack, about a month ago he stayed with my parents and Papa introduced him to the tractor.. SO the second he made eye contact with it he raced back to the house to get Papa, shane, daddy and me.. (good thing it was halftime!) We all headed out to the barn to let the little guy play on the tractor.. Yes, we all got the memo that this 2 year old rules our lives :) Look at the joy on his face! He loves the tractor (tac-tor) and his Papa!!

The for more excitement GaGa and Shane climbed in the bucket.. Yes, this is safe--i think--my only justification of that last thought is I did it all the time growing up.. so yes, it is safe.. because i never got hurt doing it. Chaz thought this was super funny.

And then he wanted to do it.. although he had a death grip on GaGa.

and back to the Rhino.. this "victim" ..uncle Shane...

Then he told GaGa to get in the front and Lisa to get in the back.. again, we are all at the mercy of a 2 year old...oh well it keeps life interesting..right??

So when we returned to the house it was Kyle's turn to "play" with chaz.. Chaz loves to line things up.. it is odd but his daddy thinks it is a sign of brillance.. anyways, he lined the charis up like a train and then told "tyle git in" We placed kyle in the chair and he sat there forever!

Chaz had to keep checking to make sure his "playpal" had not left..
